Hello my dA friendlings~!


So! As you know, I’m starting a contest! This
time, you can choose between six of my OCs to
draw, and you’ll have longer to do it in -
from now til Christmas! 8D Me and *Tenri
figured that if she doesn’t enter, it’ll be less
biased, and then she can help with the judging,
so we need to do the deadline for around Christmas
time because that’s when she’ll be home from uni to
come round and debate picture-ness. >83 So, everyone
ready? Here’s the rules! ^_^


RULES

You must draw one of the six OCs
listed below (naturally, they’re all boys ;D).

You can enter more than once if you
like.

You can draw them doing whatever
you want, wearing whatever you want, in any
situation - as long as they are recognisable
as themselves.

Prizes will be awarded on originality of
ideas, the general charm of the picture, capturing their
personality, the amount of time obviously put into the
work etc.

THE CHARACTERS
(All of them are male XP)



RALUKI SHAMARIAN

Looks about 20 years old (immortal and
permanently youthful)
Vampire (so he can’t go out in sunlight
or he’ll die D8)
Waist-length tangled black hair
Slanted, vibrant green eyes
Really pale skin
Long fangs
Height: 6 foot 8 inches (He’s bloody tall,
I know XD)
He has silver piercings in his right eyebrow
and left ear and a tattoo of a snake on his left upper arm
Personality: Taciturn, solitary and often
sarcastic, but he has a soft heart underneath - you just
don’t see it very often XD
He doesn’t tell many people about his hobbies,
but he likes playing guitar and sketching

THARAKU AGERU

18 years old
Dark Faerie
Long dark purple hair, messy at the front,
pulled back into two plaits at the back
Green eyes
Little fangs, pointed ears and two sets
of wings, like a dragonfly’s but black with claws on
the tips
He has several piercings in his ears and
eyebrows but they’re not finalised yet, so do what you like
Height: About eight inches XD (He is a faerie,
remember!)
Personality: Quick to anger and quite snappy,
but loyal once he’s befriended someone. Very possessive with
his belongings. X3
He has a fondness for cookies but doesn’t manage
to get hold of them often, so he makes do with eating insects.
His current favourite snack is butterflies. But he much prefers
biscuits and a big mug of hot chocolate. XP

TAJ KATSURIKO

20 years old
Human
Shoulder-length black hair, sometimes
with dyed streaks of green or something
Bright blue eyes
Pale skin
Height: 5 foot 9 inches
He has snakebite piercings in his lower lip,
several piercings in his ears and one in his right eyebrow
He also has a tattoo of a dragon curling down
his entire right arm, ‘KATSURIKO’ vertically down his left
lower arm, a demon wing on one side of his back and an angel
wing on the other. He probably has more tattoos he hasn’t
told me about, I don’t know. XD
Personality: Generally quite friendly and
generous, and very loyal, but has a habit of shirking
responsibility and panicking under pressure.
He’s actually the Emperor of Mythralia,
as he has been since he was 16 when his mother was
assassinated
He has Dragon magic and has a little black
dragon called Shade, but don’t worry about drawing her if
you don’t want to ^^
He’s a Goth, but has a fear of graveyards and
spiders. XD
His hobbies are writing songs (but it takes
him a while because he’s dyslexic), playing guitar and singing.
He’s a really good singer. ^^

FLYNN

He always looks about 17 no matter how old
he is
Elemental Guardian of Fire - appears human
but has Fire magic almost equal to that of a god
Messy, shortish ginger hair
Reddish-orange eyes
Slightly tanned skin
Height: 5 foot 8 inches
He’s gay (just a warning in case you wanted
to draw him flirting with a girl or something XD), but
definitely not camp. XP
Personality: Determined, quick-tempered and
easily annoyed, but a loyal friend with a good heart. <3
(He’s Kirrin’s best friend and has always looked after him ^^)
He practices skateboarding, but isn’t very good
at it. XD

TAKANE REDDON

27 years old
Human
Albino
Long white hair usually in a loose, messy
ponytail
Red eyes
White skin - as in, albino white, not just
pale
Height: 5 foot 12 inches
A swordfighting and martial arts teacher,
and very good at it too, despite looking quite fragile
with his tall, slender build
Personality: Cheerful, welcoming, a little
eccentric, and has a great sense of humour
Addicted to tea XD
His eyes are sensitive to bright light because
of his albinism so he wears sunglasses when outdoors and
has dim lights in his apartment
His hobbies include, obviously, swordfighting
and martial arts, but also cooking, photography and karaoke. XD

DAEMIAN RAGER

25 years old
Half-human, half-werewolf (but you can’t
tell he’s part-werewolf unless he transforms - in which
case he becomes a gigantic wolf XD)
Shortish messy dark blue-black hair
His left eye is blue and his right is green
Height: 5 foot 11 inches
Personality: Usually calm and laid-back, but
he can switch to angry in an instant, and once he starts
he can rant for hours. XD
He has a swirly little tattoo under his left
eye and another on the top of his left arm, spelled to
protect against wayward werewolf transformations if he gets angry
Missing his left arm from just above the
elbow from where it was torn off by a dragon D:
He also has quite a lot of scars from the
same attack - but somehow they serve to make him look sexier.
How does he do that? D8
He’s one of Takane’s friends and also works at
the same school, but only teaches swordfighting.
He used to play guitar but he can’t any more.
It makes him sad. D8
